Ecosystem Management Technician & Technologist Programs - Sept. 2019
While living in Costa Rica, Josh, Karen, Liam and James hosted a visiting team of students and faculty from the Ecosystem Management program. The event lead Josh to a career at Fleming College. The School of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences offers a two year Ecosystem Management Technician and a third year Ecosystem Management Technologist diploma. Josh is the coordinator of the program.
Ecosystem Management focuses on individual growth and achievement while placing an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration. The core guiding principle of the Ecosystem Management Program: The Earth does not need humans. Humans need the Earth. Go to Fleming
Monitoring Amphibians & Reptiles - October 4th and 5th, 2019
Amphibians and reptiles are Ontario's most endangered vertebrates. Environmental and ecological field work frequently requires determining the presence of species at risk and monitoring of their populations. This course focuses on where, when and how to effectively monitor amphibian and reptile populations. Enrol in the course.
